Yutong Wang(b.2005) is a Chinese artist living and working in London and Beijing.

Currently studying at BA Fine Art Photography(2023-2026) in Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London

The artist navigates between individual sensory experience and sociological perspectives, examining how the self and social subjects of the individual are generated and shaped through interaction with the world. Employing social engagement as orientation, the practice emphasises the relationships formed between artwork, issues, audience and the reality in which the audience is situated, and the consequent impact alongside them. Inspired by conceptual art and experimental films, the artist habitually organises the visual in conceptual ways, treating everyday life as visual material to be mobilised. Through a multi-media practice encompassing video, installation, painting and poetry, the artist continually explores the boundaries between narrative, material and lived experience.
